JOB SUMMARY

  • Collects, validates, and analyzes data to allow the Battery Group to make informed business decisions about its products, services, and initiatives.
  • Identifies, acquires, aggregates, and analyzes 3rd party sources of data or information to help understand the Battery Group markets – including their trends, historical industry & customer performance, and possible shifts in industry & customer behavior.
  • Recommends possible initiatives or adjustments to current marketing activities, based on analysis, to help achieve the goals of the Marketing team and the Battery Group at large.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Consult Marketing Leads about objectives and requirements of projects.
  • Formulate plans for market research & reporting projects and present them to management.
  • Perform quantitative and/or qualitative research for approved projects.
  • As needed, solicit project bids from research agencies for quantitative or qualitative research for approved projects, and award to the winning agency.
  • Design and pre-test specific research methods such as questionnaires or discussion guides.
  • Submits tab specifications to winning research agencies
  • Checks the accuracy of data tables.
  • Analyzes research data or reviews analyses submitted by research agencies.
  • Presents findings to management.
  • Consolidates & analyzes customer & sales data from internal /owned sources.
  • Analyze and interpret data to identify patterns and solutions, including surveys and focus group
  • transcripts.
  • Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties research and implement best practices.
