Motolite introduces New Motorcycle Batteries
Two new Maintenance-Free motorcycle batteries (MCBs), the MFYB3L and the MFYB5L, were added to the Motolite MCB line up this year.
These new MCBs feature advanced Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) Technology. With this technology, the battery solution is contained within the AGM separators, resulting to greater fluid retention and longer life. The use of AGM separators also make these batteries virtually leak-free, allowing the battery to be installed at any angle, even upside-down, as may be required by the motorcycle.
These new MCBs are also safer and more resistant to internal pressure build-up during use as its cover and container is made of rigid and durable ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) plastic. ABS material is able to withstand higher pressure compared to other plastic counterparts (like polypropylene) being used in the battery industry.
